At imperix, we develop and commercialize prototyping equipment for power electronics, electric
drives, smart grids and similar topics. Our products are designed to accelerate the implementation
of power converter prototypes and facilitate experimental activities in research laboratories. Our
customers are both universities and industries, who typically seek to validate state-of-the-art con-
trol techniques or new power converter topologies. Today, over 90 % of our sales are made abroad,
with customers within 42 countries. Founded in 2013, imperix is a young and dynamic company
of about 30 people, located within short walking distance from the train station in Sion.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be part of our engineering team and will work on the development of new products, as
well as on special projects for our customers. More specically, you will contribute to various activ-
ities related to the design and manufacturing of electronic circuit boards. Your designs will be used
in multiple applications, ranging for renewable energies, electric mobility, wireless power transfer,
energy storage, etc.
The corresponding designs are quite diverse, and notably include :
• State-of-the-art digital electronics (with large FPGAs, multi-gigabit communication, etc.)
• High-performance analog circuits (16 bits, >1MHz bandwidth)
• Power electronic circuits (>600V, >40A)
Specically, the foreseen responsibilities are as follows :
• Edition of circuit schematics
• Denition of layout rules and constraints
• Implementation of board layouts (component placement and routing)
• Maintenance of component libraries
• Debug and qualication of the developed electronic circuits

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Education : MSc degree in electronics or equivalent experience required.
• Languages : A good command of technical English is required, both written and spoken.
• Seniority : Mid-senior to Senior. Demonstrable previous experience is required.
